Dental Analytics for Dentrix Ascend
Dentrix Ascend analytics is a different problem from desktop Dentrix. Ascend is the cloud practice system, so a group can run several offices in one product and pull reports from a browser. That is already better than emailing spreadsheets between sites. It still leaves someone to decide what the report means. A Dentrix Ascend dashboard should make production, collections, new patients, and hygiene comparable across locations without a fresh export for each office.
Dentrix Ascend reporting is built for organizations that outgrew a single server. Regional managers want the same dental practice analytics in every office: who is producing, who is collecting, where the schedule is thin, and where accounts receivable is aging. A Dentrix Ascend KPI view is most useful when those measures use one definition, so a strong office is not hiding a weak one inside the group total.
Owners search for Dentrix Ascend analytics because the clinical team already lives in Ascend and the business questions still take too long. Root Data is aimed at that second step. The connection is not available yet.

Root Data + Dentrix Ascend Integration

Dentrix Ascend is Henry Schein's cloud practice management system. Practices and groups choose it to get scheduling, charting, and billing off a local server. An integration still has to be read-only. Root Data should not become the system that changes the book or the ledger.
Root Data does not connect to Dentrix Ascend today. If you run Ascend across one office or many, this is the page to watch. Desktop Dentrix has a separate page, because the systems are not interchangeable. Integration status is coming soon.
