Dental Analytics for Dentrix
Dentrix analytics often means a production report, a collections report, and a spreadsheet that tries to make them agree. Dentrix reporting is capable, and many offices have used it for years. The gap is interpretation. A Dentrix dashboard should keep production, collections, new patients, hygiene, and case acceptance on one page so a slow month is obvious without rebuilding the workbook.
Dental practice analytics for a Dentrix office still comes down to a few questions. Did production move. Did collections follow. Are new patients replacing the ones who finished treatment. Is hygiene reappointing. Is presented treatment being accepted. Dentrix already records those events. What most owners lack is a steady Dentrix dashboard that says which of those moved and which one deserves the next conversation with the team.
Dentrix is one of the most widely installed practice systems in the United States, especially in independent offices that have run it on a server in the practice for a long time. That history is an asset. Root Data wants Dentrix analytics to use it, not to ask the office to start over in another ledger.

Root Data + Dentrix Integration

Dentrix, from Henry Schein, is usually installed at the practice rather than shared as one cloud login across a region. A responsible connection has to read the data and leave scheduling, claims, and the ledger under the office's control. Root Data does not connect to Dentrix yet.
Dentrix is not the same request as Dentrix Ascend. Ascend is the cloud system, and it has its own page. This page is for practices on Dentrix itself. Integration status is coming soon. Practices that want in before the general release can ask for early access or a place in the beta.
