1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Root Data AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Root Data AI provides dental practice analytics and data integration services. We connect with your Practice Management System (PMS) to provide insights, reporting, and automation capabilities.

Root Data currently supports Open Dental PMS integrations for standard self-service and native iOS onboarding. Other PMS integrations may be offered as roadmap or custom integration work and are not guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.

3. Data Privacy and Security

We take the security of your data and your patients' data seriously. Our use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including HIPAA where relevant. You retain all rights to your data.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

Services are provided on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing terms presented at the time of subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

If you subscribe through the Root Data iOS app, billing is handled by Apple through in-app purchase. Apple's payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules apply to that purchase, and you can manage the subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Root Data uses Apple purchase validation and App Store Server Notifications to activate and update access for Apple-billed subscriptions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Root Data AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
